Two time Olympian Richard Hortness is a Father, a Teacher, an Activator, and a Speaker.

Having grown up in Surrey British Columbia he learned at an early age the value of sport. His drive and dedication to sport taught him lifelong lessons that he is now sharing with the next generation of athletes and with his students.

Nearly having to stop playing sports due to a lack of funds. Richard's family  was fortunate enough to be the recipient of a grant from KidSport which allowed him to continue on with his sporting goals.

A teacher at South Delta Secondary School, Richard now focuses on teaching the values he learned in sport, as well as his family values of Trust, Integrity, and Respect.

Richard is also a co-leader of the November Project Vancouver. Here he leads workouts every Wednesday morning at 6:29 am at Queen Elizabeth Park, as a chapter of the worlds biggest free fitness movement.

He loves to share his story with others and is a great addition to your team, office or community events.  Come and join Richard for a workout or bring him to your event today by reaching out via our contact us page
